Job Qualification Requirements:
High School graduate with a minimum of 2-year work experience in Accounting position. Knowledgeable in the accounting function of a company. Familiar in using Peachtree, QuickBooks, and Microsoft office software. Willing to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends. Can work independently and under less supervision. Must be able to meet work deadlines. All applicants must be able to secure the CNMI driver's license. Employment Certificate in Accounting position from the previous employer is required for all applicants. This job is a temporary full-time position. The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from employee's origin to the place of employment as well as return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(l). Perform general accounting tasks and ensure accuracy in financial records for construction and gaming business activities. Develop and update recordkeeping and accounting systems using current technology. Manage spreadsheets, ledgers, and journals, and handle petty cash/change funds. Process cash, checks, vouchers, and code documents as per company procedures. Conduct financial calculations and reconcile discrepancies in records. Maintain and summarize financial data using journals, ledgers, or computer software. Match orders with invoices and prepare payroll and bank deposits.
